Can
you send out a working demo of the Digital Dentist software?
Sorry we cannot offer a free working demo of the
Digital Dentist software. Digital Dentist is a unique imaging
solution which teaches you how to use an off-the-shelf graphics
editing program to do dental cosmetic simulations. Since you would
have to be able to see all of our tricks and techniques in order
to get the full idea of how powerful our system is, our risk of
piracy would be too great to give out free demos.
Since we feel you need to review the entire system
in order to determine if the solution is right for you we have
a 10 day trial period within which time you may return the system
for a refund. The return policy works like this: First purchase
the system at full price, we charge your account and send you
the entire program. If you are not completely satisfied with the
system you can retun it within the 10 day trial period (the trial
period begins after you recieve it not when we ship it). We will
then credit you 80% of the purchase price. Your risk is very little
considering the hundreds of satisfied users we have around the
world and the reasonable cost of the system. And you will have
a great chance to learn how easy and inexpensive cosmetic imaging
can be!
Can
you send someone out to give me a demonstration?
We do not have salespeople in the field because
then we would have to charge closer to what the competition charges.
Dealers typically make a 35% markup and "direct" companies'
salespeople can make thousands of dollars or more in commissions
on every system. That is what you are paying for when you get
a salesperson demonstration. We have attempted to keep our price
as low as possible for you, being at least 50% less than comparable
imaging software packages.
If I am not satisfied with
the product, can I get my money back?
We have created a much better way to buy software
than by simply observing a one hour demonstration. We offer a
no questions asked 80% performance guarantee. If during the first
10 days you get Digital Dentist and try it but don't like it,
you can return it for an 80%l refund.
Can I start doing simulations
right away?
Just like with any new technique there will be a
certain amount of time needed to learn how to use the system.
This "learning curve" is different for everyone and
is somewhat dependent on your previous experience and comfort
in using computers. We have heard of some users up and running
in one day while others can take several weeks to go through all
the tutorials. There is a quick-start section that is designed
to have you simulating full-smile makeovers in the shortest time
possible.
Can you simulate posterior
restorations with Digital Dentist?
You can certainly simulate all types of restorations
with Digital Dentist, but as we will explain in our manual, simulating
posterior esthetic restorations is probably not a good use of
your time.
How long does it take to
do a simulation?
Of course this is dependent on what you are trying
to simulate. Full smile transfer simulations can be done in minutes
just as simulation of the results of whitening. Some simulations
such as those for lab communications may take a little longer
if you want to show exacting detail.
Does Digital Dentist work
with Mac computers?
Sorry, we do not have a Mac version as yet.
What are the hardware computer
requirements?
IBM compatibles personal computer with a pentium
class processor. The faster the processor and the better the video
card the faster your images will be rendered. If you are purchasing
a new computer we recommend a Pentium 4 running at 1Ghz or greater,
256 - 512 MB RAM, 40 or greater GB hard drive, 17 inch or greater
monitor. Make sure your computer has a sound card and speakers
so you can listen to the Digital Dentist tutorials. For printing
we have found Epson, Canon, and HP to have excellent photo quality
printers, expect to pay around $200 for a basic photo quality
printer (remember your paper selection greatly influences the
print quality so purchase photo quality paper).
