Installation of iSSG from internet
- You can install the new iSSG 2.0 on your computer with a free
5 use trial. After you use the program 5 times you will need to
obtain a registration code from Digident to continue using the
program. Obtain a registration code by calling or emailing. If
you email, please include your credit card information for the
$149 fee.
- Print out these instructions.
- You cannot use the AOL browser for this download. Use a current
version Internet Explorer or FireFox.
- Click the iSSG 2.0 User's Manual link below and download
the User's Manual in pdf format (installation instruction described
in the manual is for the physical CD, follow the instructions
below for installation from the internet).
- Click on the link Download program to begin the program
download procedure.
- You will be asked for user name and password. Enter public
for user name and issg22 for password.
- This will bring you to the Digident download site.
- Click on the down arrow to the right of the file named issg2.zip.
- Select Open from the dialog box.
- This will begin the download of the iSSG 2.0 program.
- Depending on the speed of your internet connection the download
may take a while. Even with high speed it may take as long as
an hour to download, the file is close to 400 mb compressed and
will need about 700 mb of hard drive space to install.
- Once the download is completed the file should unzip automatically.
A window should open with the unzipped files.
- Find the Setup.exe file and double click it.
- If done correctly the installation should begin. You may see
a security warning that the publisher cannot be identified. If
you do, Click Run anyway.
- During installation accept all settings clicking Next
when requested until installation is completed.
- Click Finish to launch the program.
- After quiting the program you will see the zip window still
open. Close it by clicking the X at the upper right side of the
window.
- Close the web browser you were using to access the download.
- To restart the program, reveiw the options outlined in the User's
Manual
