One of the most versatile imaging program used in
dentistry today. It can easily and quickly produce realistic simulations
and at a very affordable price.
Your software:
- Includes the Lorin Library, a specially prepared group
of images that make drag-and-drop simulations a reality.
- Drag-and-drop single tooth objects or entire smile designs
into your simulations.
- Size, shape, and distort single tooth objects "on the fly".
Return to any object at any time during the imaging process!
- Test colors and shades in real time.
- Automatic and easy selection process for editing any tooth
object.
- Extremely easy digital zoom tool.
- Most functions are controlled by one-step buttons not multi-step
menus!
- Capable of working with over 50 image file formats so importing
images to your office management program should be a breeze.
- Full screen views, split screen views and enlarged views.
- Full image file management with drag and drop capability to
any OLE compliant program.
- Use images in any word processing or publishing program!
Professional imaging software for dental imaging
Digital Dentist was developed by a dentist who wanted
to provide cosmetic computer imaging for his own patients. He
needed an easy to learn program, one that could provide fast imaging,
and he did not want to spend a fortune to acquire all this. He
couldn't find it, so he developed it himself.
First he found award winning software. Then,
more importantly, he developed techniques to use the powerful
features of the program efficiently while still producing professional
looking simulation. Dr. Traub developed techniques which use
multiple tools in the software and the specially prepared images
of the Lorin Library to quickly and accurately simulate
all kinds of cosmetic treatment from diastema closures to full smile
rehabilitation.
Most imaging software programs offer techniques that allow you
to paste a nice set of teeth into your patient's mouth. This
technique is good in a lot of instances if you have the right smile
designs. The Lorin Library has these designs.
There are times, however, when you want more control of your simulation,
you want a "diagnostic quality" simulation. Our tooth-by-tooth
imaging technique is perfect for these conditions. The Digital Dentist
program allows you to adjust each simulated veneer or crown as you
drag it into your simulation. Then drag the next tooth to where
you want it, and unlike any other dental imaging program, you can
return to any previously placed tooth for further adjustments at
any time! The technique allows you to preserve all anatomic landmarks,
letting you decide what to change. Instructions and digital movies
for this and other techniques have been recorded and presented on
a multimedia CD ROM. You can view these instructional videos
on your own time at your own pace.
